LIVE AIRCRAFT RADIO STATION LOCATION : Elevation 1300 feet. Live Aircraft Radio is located on a hill, at least sixty feet higher than surrounding land elevation. This putting the live aircraft radio antenna well above the tree line for miles. Reception is incredible.
ANTENNA : Roof mounted 1/4 Wave Vertical tuned to the aircraft band.
SCANNER / RECEIVER : Uniden BCT-7 scanner specifically for this purpose. The BCT-7 has an extremely sensitive and stable AM receiver, making it the top choice for AM aircraft radio reception. It sounds nice.
